Meet Kathleen Annarelli

Kathleen Annarelli is seeking elected office for the first time as a Member of the Garwood Borough Council.  Kathleen currently works as a policy researcher at the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency. 

Before joining the Agency, she completed her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Political Science from Rutgers University.  She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Drew University. 

Although born and raised in Florida, Kathleen is a proud New Jerseyan.  In early 2024, Kathleen and her husband, Rich, purchased their first home in Garwood, where they live with their two tuxedo cats, Jaggy and Winnie.  Kathleen and Rich are active members of Trinity Episcopal Church in Cranford.
